Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the heart of San Francisco, the Nob Hill Inn is a delightful Edwardian gem that offers a perfect blend of charm and comfort. From the moment we arrived, the attentive front desk staff made us feel welcomed, even accommodating our early luggage drop-off with grace. Our upgraded room, complete with quaint antique furnishings and an in-room fireplace, added a touch of nostalgia to our stay. As a history enthusiast, I truly appreciated the Inn's preservation of its turn-of-the-century ambiance—every detail, from the brass fixtures to the lovely curtains, was inviting. With its prime location just a stone's throw from Union Square, it was effortless to explore the vibrant streets and cultural treasures of the City, making it an ideal base for both first-time visitors and seasoned travelers. The atmosphere was surprisingly peaceful, a comforting respite from the bustling city outside, allowing us to unwind after long days of exploration with a good historical novel. If you find yourself in San Francisco, I highly recommend the Nob Hill Inn for an enchanting stay filled with rich history and warm hospitality!
